Accessibility statement

A template to be completed for the real museum, its operator and the laws that apply. Highlighted information has not yet been supplied.

Accessibility statement

Mythoswin is a universal static toy museum template. This is an honest implementation statement, not an accessibility certification or a claim of conformance to any particular standard. The operator must test the published site with representative browsers, keyboard use and assistive technology, and must correct issues found.

What the template is designed to support

The implementation is intended to support keyboard access, visible focus, meaningful headings and landmarks, readable text that can be resized, sufficient colour contrast, clear labels and instructions, text alternatives for meaningful images, and layouts that remain usable at different viewport sizes. It is also intended to respect reduced-motion preferences and avoid making essential information depend on motion, colour alone or hover. These are implementation goals, not a certification.

Forms, links and the optional map

The owner must keep form labels, errors, consent choices and success messages understandable to keyboard and screen-reader users. The honeypot must not create an inaccessible trap. If the optional OpenStreetMap map is enabled, it must be activated by an accessible button, include visible attribution and provide a useful text or link alternative; the map must not be the only way to find an address or route. Review all external form and map interfaces after configuration.

Physical access and content checks

This template does not establish that any physical museum, venue, entrance, toilet, display, event or route is accessible. The owner must verify step-free access, seating, lighting, hearing support, service animals, emergency information, exhibit reach ranges, captions, transcripts, audio description and any local accessibility duties before publishing such claims. [PLEASE ADD verified physical-access information, venue details and content alternatives, or state that they are not supplied]

Feedback and complaints

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please use contact or email info@mythoswin.site. Tell the operator which page or feature caused the problem, what you were trying to do and your preferred reply format; do not include unnecessary sensitive information. [PLEASE ADD the named accessibility contact, response route, expected response time and formal complaint or escalation route]

Review

The operator should record the date of the last accessibility review, the methods used and known limitations. [PLEASE ADD last review date, applicable accessibility standard or local duty, and the next review date]
